Church of Christ

The Rushville Church of Christ will host the annual Daily Vacation Bible School beginning on Sunday evening, July 6, and continuing each evening through Thursday, July 10. The theme is “Extreme Heights - Tell It On The Mountain.”

A light meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. each evening. Activities will begin at 6 p.m. and continue through 8:30 p.m. These activities include music, snacks, crafts, skits, games, scientific experiments and classes for all ages from preschool through adults. The whole family is invited to be a part of this five night experience.

At 7 p.m. Friday, July 11, a program will be presented by those who have attended VBS.

Wednesday, June 25 - Prayer and Bible study meeting at 7 p.m. (no visitation this month)

Sunday, June 29 - No Sunday school classes, morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Wayne Scott preaching at Southeastway Park, 5624 S. Carroll Road, New Palestine, Shelter House 3 for the 22nd anniversary celebration of Faith Baptist Church. The pitch-in lunch will be held at noon. The church will provide the hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, ice and tableware. Please bring side dishes, desserts, drinks, and lawn chairs. The afternoon devotions will start at 1 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the services will be held at the church at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday, July 2 - Visitation teams will leave the church at 7 p.m.

Sunday, July 6 - Quarterly business meeting after the noon pitch-in.

Sunday, July 20 - Brother Chilton will be the guest speaker from Bearing Precious Seeds ministry. The afternoon service will be held at Morristown Manor Nursing Home at 1 p.m.

Sunday, July 27 - Baptismal service at Hancock Reform Baptist Church at 2 p.m.

Wednesday, July 30 - Visitation teams will leave the church at 7 p.m.
