Faith Baptist Church - Morristown

Sunday, June 22 - Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. with Guy Stricker teaching on the topic of “What on Earth is God Doing?” Morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Wayne Scott preaching. The pitch-in lunch will be held at noon. The afternoon preaching service starts at 12:45 p.m.

Wednesday, June 25 - Visitation teams will leave the church at 7 p.m.

Sunday, June 29 - 22nd Anniversary Celebration at Southeastway Park, South County Line Road, Indianapolis, IN at Shelter 3.

Main Street Christian Church

Tonight Main Street Christian Church will host an outdoor luau (free pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, applesauce, chips, and desserts) as a part of their Vacation Bible School closing program. The luau will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. following the program at 8 pm.

At twilight the movie (approximately 8:45 p.m.) “Finding Nemo” will be shown outdoors on the south side of the church building. The movie is in keeping with this year’s VBS theme Discovering God’s Love on Son Treasure Island.

The public is invited to attend all or any of the above events. Those attending the luau or the movie are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Those attending Friday’s events are asked to arrive by entering the church parking lot off of the Morgan Street entrance as the Main Street will be closed. The church is located at 615 North Main Street in Rushville.

On Sunday, Main Street Christian Church will worship at one combined service at 9:30 a.m. Zach Dorrel, MSCC youth director, will be delivering the morning message based on the VBS theme scripture passage from I Corinthians 13.

On Tuesday, June 24, the Manna Mission will be hosting their monthly meal from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church’s basement dining room. The hot meal is offered to anyone who desires one.

The public is invited to all events.
