First Presbyterian Church
This Sunday is our annual All Saints Day Worship. On this day we stare death in the face, remembering the Saints who live on earth and who live in eternity with God, ordinary people with extraordinary faith, who stand secure on the promises of God.
This is a day to rejoice in the open, nonjudgmental, expansive grace of God who desires nothing more than to bring each one home!
We shall witness that holy grace through the baptism of Hunter Levi Cornett, son of Heidi Levi and Andrew Cornett, and grandson of Rick and Chris Levi.
Join us in an uplifting worship with Leigh Morning serving as liturgist, the Sanctuary Choir singing the morning anthem, and Ann Fenimore serving as organist playing for prelude, “Celebration of Praise” by Denton, for offertory, “Saint’s Delight” by Harris, and postlude, “Now Joyfully Sing” by Hutson.
Sunday School for all ages is offered at 9:30 a.m.
We all have a next step to take in our spiritual journey with God. Wherever you may be on your spiritual adventure you are welcome at First Presbyterian Church!

First Baptist Church
If you have given your life to Christ, God is calling you to share your faith with others. You might think: “But I’m too shy and I am not trained in such things. Besides, I won’t make a difference anyway.” These things may be true when you rely on your own abilities. But there is another way. If you don’t already have another church home, come to First Baptist Church this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and find out what can qualify you to be a powerful witness for Christ.
The Gathering is open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stop by and check out the clothing and have a cup of coffee at 245 North Main St., Rushville. The first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m., we host a group called “Life Matters.” We’ll sing a few songs, and enjoy a discussion on relevant “life matters!” While the adults meet to get a greater understanding of what the Bible says about life matters, children ages 4 through 4th grade will enjoy an exciting time of silly songs, Bible stories and crafts at KIDS J.A.M. A staffed nursery is available birth to age three. Come as you are! Bring a friend! Questions? Contact Greg Hartwell at 765-561-1134.
Do you need shoes? Come to Changing Footprints Warehouse from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays at 310 Julian St., Rushville. If you have shoes to donate, they can be dropped off during these hours also. Contact: 317-296-3627 or firstname.lastname@example.org
