Plum Creek Christian Church

New Year’s Resolution or New Year Revolution? We are all bombarded this time of year about how to improve our lives. Everywhere you look there is an ad about getting physically fit. The gym memberships skyrocket and new diet secrets abound. Is your goal this year to resolve to do better or to revolve into a new person. The choice is yours. The Bible tells us in James 10:10 that the thief (Satan) comes to kill, steal, and destroy. While Jesus came to give us abundant life to the fullest. Who are you going to listen to? The God of the universe or the god of this world? Each one of us has a choice to make. We have to care more about our spiritual health than our physical health. This really is a matter of life and death. You are going to die someday. While exercise may keep you around this earth a while longer, your eternal life is just that, forever. Do you want an abundant after life in heaven or eternal damnation in hell? Forget the fluff and get the facts. Read the Bible and make a fresh commitment to obey God today. Decide to follow Jesus wherever he leads and whatever the cost. This workout will bring eternal everlasting rewards! We pray this year all of our churches will be packed more than the gyms! Visit with us this Sunday and start the new year right.
