RUSHVILLE — Faith Baptist Church - Morristown

Sunday, May 26, Dr. Wayne Scott will be teaching Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. with a worship service at 10:30 a.m. with special guest speaker, Sara Marshall, missionary to Costa Rica. The pitch-in lunch will be at noon followed by the afternoon service at 12:45 p.m.

Up-coming activities include:

Wednesday, May 29 - Monthly visitation teams will leave the church at 7 p.m. to call on families that have visited the church since Christmas.

June 2 - Quarterly business meeting at 12:45 p.m.

June 16 - Father’s Day - no afternoon service or pitch-in meal.

June 23 - 21st anniversary celebration at the Riley Park Shelter House at 1 p.m.

June 26 - Monthly visitation program with teams leaving the church at 7 p.m.

Vacation Bible School - July 15 - 19 from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. Activities will include Bible memory verses,  missionary stories, arts and crafts, hay ride, recreation and refreshments. For advanced registration students are encouraged to come at 6 p.m. nightly or call the church at (765) 763-7657.

Main Street Christian Church

Tuesday, May 28, The Manna Mission will be holding their free monthly meal from 5 to 7 p.m. in the dining area of Main Street Christian Church, 615 Main Street, Rushville. Menu is spaghetti, corn bread salad, vegetables, dessert, roll and drinks. Eat-in and carry-out meals available. If you know of someone that needs a hot and healthy meal, please send them our way.

June 3, In cooperation with the Rush County Food Pantry (RCCA), the Gleaners Mobile Food Bank will be bringing a truck load of food to the Main Street Christian Church parking lot, 615 N. Main St., Rushville, on the first Monday of each month for distribution to local residents. The distribution will be made between 4 and 6 p.m. Residents will need to bring their own containers (sacks or boxes) to put their food into.
