RUSHVILLE — Plum Creek Christian Church

Our Family Life Minister had a special message not only for our high school and college graduates, but for the rest of us as well. The theme of his message was about how to be successful. We all have an important decision to make when it comes to what measures success. Are we going to follow the way of the church or the way of the world? We all know how exciting it is to get away from our parents. We can’t wait to get out from their watchful eye and make a name for ourselves. In your haste to see the world don’t forget the wise words the Bible has to say about success.

God has wonderful plans for your life. No matter how hard you try you cannot escape God. Take time to read this passage and decide for yourself who you will serve. Joshua 1:6-9; “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; Do not turn from it to the right or the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” What an encouragement straight from the Word of God. Remember success comes when we obey God, not from our own selfish desires. It is a win win with God. He only wants what is the very best for us! If you have not heard the message of the Bible join us at PCCC for a closer look. We will gladly give you a Bible to help you learn the truth.
