Main Street Christian Church

Main Street Christian Church continues their Lenten and Pre-Easter sermon series, The Road Through the Cross with this Sunday’s message, “The Road Always Goes Through Failure” as we examines the disciple Peter’s denial of knowing Christ.

The Manna Mission’s first annual Arts and Crafts bazaar is one week away. The Bazaar will be held at Main Street Christian Church, 615 North Main Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12. Items vendors will carry include jewelry, antiques, primitives, quilted items, wood products, purses, etc. Baked goods will also be available. Proceeds benefit the Manna Mission ministry to provide a hot meal monthly to the Rushville community.

The Easter cantata “No Stone Could Hold Him” by Lloyd Larson will presently by united choirs from St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and Main Street Christian Church at 4 p.m. on Palm Sunday, April 13 in the Main Street Christian Church sanctuary.

A united Good Friday service will be sponsored by First Presbyterian Church, Trinity Presbyterian Church, St. Paul United Methodist Church, and Main Street Christian Church at 12:10 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church.

The public is invited to attend all of these events.

Morning worship at 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Wayne Scott preaching on the topic of “The Seven S’s of Christianity”

Pitch-in lunch at noon and the afternoon worship service at 12:45 p.m.

Wednesday, April 9 Prayer and Bible study at 7 p.m.

Friday, April 11 - Passover Seder (RSVP by Monday, March 31) with Missionary Steve Wagner at 7 p.m.

Friday, April 18 - Good Friday Communion service at 7 p.m.

Sunday, April 20 - Easter Sunday sunrise service at 8 a.m., continental breakfast at 8:45 a.m. and morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. No pitch lunch or afternoon worship service.

Sunday, June 29 - 22nd Anniversary Celebration at Southeastway Park, South County Line Road, Indianapolis, IN at Shelter 3.
