Rev. Freeman will welcome the group at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, following breakfast at 8 a.m. Barbara Pomeroy of VanBuren will give the response. Following the flag and membership pledges the audience will join in a singspiration. Recording secretary Carolyn Poer of Rushville will call the roll and read the minutes of the previous day followed by a treasurer’s report by Lois Anderson of Kokomo. National awards earned bythe local unions will be presented by Mrs. Tupps.

Department directors who will givereports are: Rev. Freeman; Shirley Swallow; Mary Hensley of Muncie; Janice Stubblefield of Mentone; Shirley Richardson of Knightstown; and Shirley Knightof Marion.

Other speakers during the morning session will include: Barbara Pomeroy, executive director of Loyal Temperance Legion; editor of “The Message”, Sarah Ward; and circulation manager Betty Montgomery. The Memorial Service will be conducted by the Perry Township Union.

The morning session will also include an election, appointments, reports and President’s Recommendations. James Knight, director of the honorary members, will introduce the men. Lunch will be served at 12:15 p.m. The President’s Address by Miss Ward will begin the final session at 1:15 p.m. The meeting will end with the theme song and a Friendship Circle and the benediction.

Faith Baptist Church - Morristown

Saturday, Oct. 5, will be the fall church work day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers are needed for painting and other small construction projects. Contact Guy Stricker for more information at (317) 861-3681.

Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, followed by morning worship at 10:30 a.m. There will be an Advent Angel gift/card exchange after the morning worship service. The pitch-in fellowship lunch will be held at noon followed by the quarterly business meeting at 12:45 p.m.

Cottage prayer meetings will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 9 and continue in October and November in preparation for the revival services Nov. 24-27 with Evagelist Morris Gleiser and the music ministry of Paul and Betty Hiscock. The sign up sheet for the meetings is on the organ bench in the sanctuary.
