Faith BaptistChurch - Morristown

Dr. Wayne Scott, pastor

Faith Baptist Church is holding revival services beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and continuing Sunday evening through 7 p.m. Wednesday nightly. Evangelist Morris Gleiser will be preaching, while Paul and Betty Hiscock will be leading songs and performing the special music with hand bells, trumpet and trombone.

There will be a children’s church program for kids ages 3-10 years at each service as well as nursery available for children 2 years and under. Contact Dr. Wayne Scott for more information at (765) 763-7657 or (317) 861-5516.

Good News Clubs will continue at Morristown Elementary after school on Wednesdays, Dec. 4 and 11 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. For more details, contact Dr. Wayne Scott at (765) 763-7657.

Thursday, Dec. 5 - Mrs. Karen Scott will be the guest speaker at Hazelwood Baptist Church for “A Vintage Christmas” at 6:30 p.m. RSVP by Dec. 1 to Karen Scott at (317) 861-5516.

Sunday, Dec. 15 - Morristown Manor Nursing Home Christmas program at 1 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 22 - Faith Baptist Church Christmas program at 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 24 - Candlelight worship service at 7 p.m. (No Wednesday Bible study this week)

Sunday, Dec. 29 - Stay and pray after the morning worship service.

Rushville Churchof the Nazarene

On Sunday, Dec. 1, the Rushville Church of the Nazarene will be conducting a dedication of the new handicap ramp in front of the church during the morning service beginning at 10:30 a.m. The ramp was built with funds raised in memory of Mr. Lester “Tom” Reynolds who was a member of the church who passed away last summer. The church would like to thank everyone who donated to the project.

At 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, the Rushville Church of the Nazarene will be holding their annual “Hanging of the Greens” service. This service is to refocus those who attend on the real meaning of Christmas closing with everyone singing Silent Night in the candle lit sanctuary. It is a highlight of the season and everyone is invited to attend.
