RUSHVILLE — First Church of God

The First Church of God will be having a children’s Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 30. All children ages 2 to 11 are invited to participate in some exciting Easter activities that include a video of the Easter story, crafts, coloring, snacks and, of course, an Easter Egg Hunt by age groups. The fun will be from 10 to 11 a.m. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place rain or shine.

Big Flatrock Christian Church

Big Flatrock Christian Church would like to invite everyone to their Easter services.

Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. March 31 with a pitch-in breakfast immediately following. Coffee, juice and milk provided.

Easter Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. March 31 with an Easter Egg Hunt immediately following.

Divinity Ranch Bible Chapel

Divinity Ranch Bible Chapel on Allentown Road in Fayette County will share the Easter story Saturday. Plans include Rev. John Lundy doing a live demonstration of Jesus hanging on the cross from 9 am. to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be available throughout the day. From Rushville, take US 52 East to CR450, prior to reaching New Salem. Turn left and go approximately 9 miles.

Faith Baptist Church in Morristown

Candy donations are still needed for the Good News Clubs that are meeting at New Palestine Elementary (Mondays) and Morristown Elementary (Wednesdays) after spring break. Contact Karen Scott for more information at (317) 861-5516.

Sunday, March 31 will be the Easter sunrise service at 8 a.m., followed by a pitch-in breakfast from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. Sunday school will follow at 9:30 a.m. and the Easter Cantata at 10:3 a.m. presented by the church choir under the director of Tiffany Richards. There will not be a pitch-in lunch or afternoon service due to the holiday.

Sunday, April 14 will feature missionary Ted Tharp from Rock of Ages Prison Ministry who will make a presentation during the morning worship service. There will not be a noon pitch-in or afternoon service due to the evening home Bible study at 6 p.m. at various locations throughout the community.

Tuesday, April 16 will be the next opportunity to visit the Statehouse for Family and Freedom Days sponsored by Advance America from 9 to 10:15 a.m. in the 7th floor conference room, 101 W. Ohio St., Indianapolis. This is a free event for the public to attend and a chance to speak with your Senator and Representative at the Statehouse on issues of importance to American families. Sunday, April 21 will be the Morristown Manor Nursing Home visit during the afternoon worship time from 1 to 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, April 24 will be the next visitation opportunity at 7 p.m. Meet at the church to organize groups to visit those guests that have visited Faith Baptist Church since Christmas.
