Hi, all you kind folks in Readership Land,
In my scrampin’ about - I might add, with layers of “woolies”, toasty footies and booties for me little “toezies.” I’m rather weighted down! A quick “snow angel” before I’m blown away. “Mercy!”
I’ve put together a little “Who is this?! Have a cup of tea and cookies (YES) and let’s see who gets the answers quickly. It all will be a blessing. Get set, get ready and go to your Bibles.
As we know from last time that there was an event that changed the world forever. A-men.
There was another babe born before the one in the manger in Bethlehem. Both of these baby boys births were told of their coming by the angel Gabriel. On telling the first, a man, that he and his wife would have a son, in Luke 1:, we find out what happened to him. He would be speechless until the birth of their son because he did not believe what he heard from the angel.
In Luke 1: we find the first little boy was born in the country of Judea. This little boy grows up to be a tall and strong man and that he liked living in the out of doors. He would stay in the country near the river Jordan. When he was about thirty years old he left home to begin preaching. He was asked if he was Elizah and if he was a prohet. To each question he replied,”No.” In Luke 3:16 we read him saying, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
In Luke 2: and 3: we find the second baby boy has grown up and left his home. He went to the Jordan River to hear a man who spoke of the coming of the one who would take away their sins.
