Hi, all you kind folks in Readership Land,
Mercy! March is fleeing. Easter Sunday is March 31.
How many of you kind folks “like” jelly beans? I do! My problem... they get struck in my “toother’s.” Yet they are yummy, yummy in my tummy!
Here is one version of the meaning of the colors for a jelly bean prayer.
Red is for the blood He gave.
Green is for the grass He made.
Yellow is for the sun so bright.
Orange is for the edge of night.
Black is for the sins we made.
White is for the grace He gave.
Purple is for our sorrow.
Pink is for our new tomorrow.
A jar full of jelly beans colorful and sweet.
Is a prayer. Is a promise.
Is a loved one’s treat.
May the Joy of Christ’s Resurrection fill your heart and bless your life.
“He is not there; for He is risen.” Matthew 28:6a
Until the next time.
