Arlington Christian Church

This Sunday evening, Sept. 16, Arlington Christian Church is pleased to present the highly acclaimed movie, Courageous. The movie will be shown in the air-conditioned sanctuary for teens and adults, beginning at 6 p.m.

Adult-supervised child care is provided downstairs for those up through grade six. Admission and childcare is free. Refreshments, door prizes, and valuable family-strengthening take-home resources will be provided.

Courageous is the story of four men, called to serve and protect as law enforcement officers. They serve the public with confidence, yet their biggest challenge is not on the job. Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. But, raising their children in a god-honoring way? That takes real courage. When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their parenting skills. This newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God and to their children.

Riveted moviegoers will find themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they are inspired by everyday heroes Ð heroes who strive to be the kinds of dads that make a lifelong impact on their children.

What the movie Fireproof did for marriage, Courageous, will do for the family!

Men, women, and teens will walk away with much to talk about after they view this movie. For this reason, an 8-week study, using clips of the movie, will be offered to all those interested, beginning Oct. 23 This class will meet on Sunday mornings, during the 930-10:20 a.m. Sunday School hour at Arlington Christian. All are welcome to attend.

Whether you attend the movie for a relaxing evening, or whether you plan to participate in the class being offered, please join us at 6 p.m. this Sunday. If you have questions concerning the movie Courageous, or any of the many ministries offered at Arlington Christian Church, please call our church office at 66-2329, or our Minister Bob Brock at 663-2129.
