Arlington Christian Church will introduce an event called “The Journey,” an evening of contemporary worship, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The event will feature a concert and message by Dean Nester, musician and minister to young adults at Park Chapel Christian Church in Greenfield. The evening will also include worship music led by Bradey Berkemier and Nate Hines. A gathering for coffee and desserts will follow. Child care will be provided.
“The Journey” is being hosted by the Eagles’ Wings young adult fellowship in Arlington. Everyone in the community and surrounding area is invited to join them for the event.
Faith Deliverance Church
Faith Deliverance Church, 1260 E. Hamilton Avenue in Franklin will host a Benefit Sing for Tammy Auxier at 6:30 p.m. June 21. She is in need of a kidney-pancreas transplant. Appearing will be Dedication, Cappie Hammond, The Smiths, Susan and Danny McAdams.
Westview Church of the Nazarene
One of Gospel music’s most popular quartets, The Dixie Melody Boys, will be featured at the Westview Church of the Nazarene in New Castle. The group will share its unique four-part harmony with those attending this special event at 6:45 p.m. June 27.
Since organizing more than four decades ago, The Dixie Melody Boys have enjoyed much success, including a Grammy nomination and numerous fan award nominations from The Singing News Magazine, Southern Gospel Music’s leading fan and trade publication. The group’s energy and excitement, coupled with their exceptional vocal blend is appealing to audiences of all ages, creating an exciting evening of musical pleasure.
