9/6/13

4:54 p.m.: Three vehicle accident investigated at First and Main Streets, Rushville. Drivers involved were Evan J. Brooks, 18, of Connersville; Dylan Meyer, 20, of Greensburg; and Charles L. Saunders, 57, of Rushville. All three vehicles were northbound on Main Street. Meyer and Saunders were stopped at Main and First, waiting for the traffic light to change. Brooks advised he wasn’t paying attention and struck the rear of Meyer’s vehicle. Impact knocked Meyer into the rear of Saunders’ vehicle. There were no injuries noted on the accident report. No arrests were made nor citations issued.

12:55 a.m.: Shelly Denise Swango, 51, of Arlington, was arrested in the 100 block of E. First Street on a warrant for revoking bond.

10:50 p.m.: James Kevin Sorrell, 46, address not listed, was arrested in the 300 block of E. Third Street for operating while intoxicated.

9/14/13

1:36 a.m.: Mark A. Smith, 42, address not listed, was arrested at US 52 and Donald Street for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. At the same time and location, Laura Ann Steinhauer, 42, address not listed, was arrested for obstruction of justice.

6:06 p.m.: Dustin C. Boring, 24, address not listed, was arrested on Robin Way for possession of a controlled substance (a “D” felony).

10:05 a.m.: Monica J. Locker, 35, address not listed, was arrested for public intoxication.

5:55 a.m.: One vehicle accident investigated on SR3 at CR350S. Incident involved a vehicle operated by Dylon M. Newton, 20, of Greensburg. Driver advised he was on his way to work and fell asleep. His vehicle drifted off road and struck the end of a guard rail. There were no injuries, arrests or citations.

9/12/13

1:47 a.m.: Cecil Dale Sebastian, 52, of Hamilton, Ohio, was arrested in the 1,000 block of North State Road 3 for possession of a controlled substance (meth), auto theft and false identity.

2:55 p.m.: Joel L. Burns, 54, of Greensburg, was arrested on an unspecified writ of attachment.

3:25 p.m.: Jason M. Simmons, 39, of Connersville, was arrested on a writ for contempt of court/failure to appear.

9/15/13

9:10 p.m.: Emily A. Shepard, 34, of Rushville, was cited in the 7,000 block of South State Road 3 for driving while suspended (an infraction).

9:25 p.m.: Craig Michael Waddell, 32, address not listed, was arrested on a writ for contempt of court.
