RUSHVILLE — The Mixers Extension Homemakers met Monday, Oct, 15, at the home of Marjorie Miller. Eight members and one guest, Connie Lang, were present. President Mary Nigh led the group in the Pledge to the Flag and the Homemakers Creed.

Barbara White read the roll call and minutes of the September meeting.

Mary reminded the members to send a memory to the state group for the 100th Anniversary book. We will send a gift to the Mental Health Gift Lift.

For Health and Safety Jessie Wilson told about Dry Eye and what the causes are and how to help it.

Quelda Silver gave the lesson on What Can I do For My Loved Ones. She told of the important things that your family needs to know in case of emergency. She gave us papers to fill out with that information and said that we should tell someone where these things are. We should have a copy of our medicines and emergency information in our glove compartment and in our refrigerator; EMTs are trained to look there.

Marjorie served delicious refreshments at the close of the meeting.
