Jivin Jackson 4-H Club shares demonstrations

RUSHVILLE — The Jivin Jackson 4-H Club met May 14 at the Jackson Township Community Club with Jarrod White calling the meeting to order, Caitlyn Morris leading the American pledge and Devan Draper leading the 4-H pledge.

Madison Sutter read the minutes of the last meeting and called the roll with 21 members responding with the “city where they were born.” There were 10 guests present along with leaders Judy Leisure and Lisa and Bill Markley. Cassidy Tellas gave the health and safety report on “Why Healthy Teeth Are Important.”

Monica Robinson and Olivia Dora led the group in singing “You Can’t Ride in a Little Wagon.” Members were reminded of upcoming dates. Demonstrations were given by the following people:  Alexis and Ashlie Denney “How to make Tortilla Chips,” Devan Draper “How to Show a Cat at the Fair,” Olivia Dora “Puppy Chow,” Grace Wright “Differences in Light Bulbs,” Caleb Krodel “Legos,” Lily Krodel “Legos,” Emma Richardson “How to Put a Chicken in and out of a Cage,” and McKenzie Sprinkle “Scrapbooking.” Refreshments were furnished by Devan Draper, Olivia Dora, Grace Wright, Emma Richardson, Shaleigh and Carter Tague and Becky, Betsy and Grace Muir.
