Big Brothers Big Sisters selling mums

Rushville Republican

---- — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rush County will be selling Mums throughout the month of August.

Beckers Greenhouse of Cambridge City provides the gorgeous 10 inch hardy mums available in the colors white, bronze, red, yellow, coral pink, and lavender. These lovely mums are just $7.00. The mums will be delivered from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, August 24, at the parking lot of the First Presbyterian Church.

The funds generated from the sale of the mums will be used to assist in activities for the youth enrolled in the BBBS program. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a youth servicing organization, our vision is to enable the youth (ages 6 to 18) in the Rush County community to reach their full potential through one-on-one mentoring relationships, leading to stronger friendships and communities.

We are so very grateful to the people of our community who continue to support BBBS through the years! Bowl For Kids’ Sake 2013 was a fun and successful event, giving us a jump-start on funding for the 2013 year. Thank you to all those teams who raised funds and bowled, as well as our spectacular group of sponsors! Please call 765-932-5449 or email elizabeth.bbbs@gmail.com or stop by Staggs on August 11 (Staggs & BBBS Day) to order your mums.
