Rushville Republican

RUSHVILLE — The members of Psi Iota Xi, Iota chapter held a Mother-Daughter-Doll Tea on Sunday, May 5 in the  basement of St Paul’s United Methodist Church. Mothers, daughters and their dolls gathered for an afternoon of pleasantries. The girls and their dolls made bows for their dolls and themselves, put on a fashion show, had an etiquette lesson, and listened to a story about meeting with the queen for tea. The girls and their mothers were served a variety of teas, hot chocolate, finger sandwiches, and bite size cookies. Everyone had a great time and plans are already being made for the event next year. The members of Psi Iota Xi enjoyed serving these young ladies and dolls.
