RUSHVILLE — Friends Too Extension Homemakers Club held a special guest meeting at the Waldron Methodist Church. Husbands, friends and neighbors were invited for a pitch-in dinner with speaker Gracie Marlatt presenting the program, “Something I Can Do for the Ones I Love.”

After the meal, the group met in the church sanctuary along with guests from the area for a very important lesson and demonstration.

An earlier lesson was on basic completed wills and other arrangements.

Gracie is the Rush County HHS educator. She provided important information to follow that complimented the earlier lesson. Her presentation included making a will and telling where it is to a reliable person. People often have no sudden death plans known by anyone. It is important to plan ahead even if it doesn’t seem necessary.

The main theme of the lesson was to plan ahead, plan for the unexpected and be prepared.
