---- — Friends Too Home Extension Club met at the Home of Ruth Kessler. The meeting was opened by vice president Jean Chandler with the Pledge to the American Flag, followed by the Homemakers Creed. For roll call, members answered with a special of recently deceased Gladys Kuhn. Gladys’ son Gerald was a special guest. Her two daughters were unable to attend.

Treasurer Ruth Kessler reported and collection was taken.

Achievement night information was discussed and leader training sheets were filled out. Members were encouraged to attend Living Well Day. The two new members filled out paperwork for IEHA offices.

A new president was elected to fill the position due to Roberta Cole’s sudden passing.

The September meeting will be held at the Home of Linda Chandler with co-hostess Jean Chandler.

Delicious refreshments of ice cream sundaes and cookies were enjoyed by all.

Quilt blocks are being made by members for a quilt of valor for our military service men and women. Linda Kuhn is leading the project.
