---- — The Jivin Jackson 4-H Club met Oct. 8 at the Jackson Township Community Building. Catie Liggett, vice president, called the meeting to order. The American pledge was led by Lily Krodel and the 4-H pledge by Caleb Krodel. Madison Sutter called the roll with 41 members giving their name, grade and school attended. There was also 3 Cloverbuds present.

Leaders present were Judy Leisure, Karen Macy and Bill Markley along with several parents. The secretary’s report was read and Cassidy Tellas gave the Health and Safety report on “Halloween Tips for Trick or Treating.”

Members were congratulated on their fine accomplishments at the Rush County Fair as well as those who exhibited at the Indiana State Fair. Cloverbuds, Reagan Robinson, Dylan Tellas and Tracie Stanley were recognized for their efforts. Completion pins were given to members as well as the Green Record Folders, 2014 4-H Enrollment Forms and our Christmas Greens sales packets.

Refreshments were provided by Kylie Macy, Alisha Markley, Morgan Daniels, Lily and Caleb Krodel.
