RUSHVILLE — The Rushville Music Study Club met March 13 at the Rushville United Methodist Church with 13 members and one guest attending.

Discussion was held on the upcoming chorale and the end of the year program on June 12. Our theme of family will be the focus of our program and rehearsals will begin at our next meeting.

In new business, Rushville Music Study Club’s scholarship program as discussed at length with several possibilities of donating to the school’s music programs.

A delightful program was presented by Pat Bird, Louise Krick, Margie Schwering, Judy Springmire and Karen Ward. Numbers included Johnny Cash’s, “I Walk the Line” and “Ring of Fire;” Johnny and June Carter Cash’s “Jackson” by Karen and guest Machelle Edwards. Louise entertained club members on her accordion with, “Keep on the Sunny Side,” and the program concluded with Bill and Gloria Gaither’s, “He Touched Me” and a medley of Gaither songs.

Delicious refreshments of cake, nuts, jelly beans and tea were served by Marilyn Dunn and Marsha Chambers.
