RUSHVILLE — Donald Max Newbold, 67, of Indianapolis, went home to his Lord peacefully at his home July 5, 2013.
Max was born March 25, 1946 in Rushville, a son of the late Ralph and Cecil (Hanshew) Newbold. He married Deanna M. Krack Oct. 10, 2003; she survives.
He was retired from Magnode Corporation where he worked as a manufacturing supervisor many years. He was a US Army veteran and served in the Viet Nam War. He was a longtime member of First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Deanna of Indianapolis; one daughter, Jodi (Kevin) Harr; two sons, Charles (Beth) Newbold and Donald Newbold, all of Rushville; two step daughters, Cynthia (Nathan) Ford of Coatsville and Jennifer Lewis of Brownsburg; one brother, Paul (Delores) Newbold of Cumberland; and nine grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 8 at First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville with Pastor Jeff Edwards officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial with military honors will follow in East Brook Cemetery in Milroy.
