RUSHVILLE — Paul Gallimore, 95, a life-long Rush County resident, passed away Oct. 3, 2013, in Rushville. He was born Dec. 15, 1917, in Rush County to Harry C. and Beulah L. (Stephen) Gallimore.
He was a 1933 graduate of Raleigh. He married Mildred Church on Aug. 14, 1940, and she preceded him in death in 1980. He married Eloise (Bever) Fletcher on Nov. 6, 1981, and she survives.
Paul was a member of the Big Flatrock Christian Church and Rush County Heritage Society. He was a mechanic many years, working for Bussard Olds, Earl Ward Pontiac and Mr. Freshie's.
In addition to his wife, Eloise, of Rushville, he is survived by his daughters, Sharlee Woodhull of Greensburg, Marsha Hendricks of San Antonio, Texas, and Carol Cocks of Ludington, Mich.; step daughters, Linda and husband Roger Miller and Rebecca Faust both of Rush County; 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. In addition to his parents and first wife, Paul was preceded in death by sisters, Doris Roe and Martha Meer; a stillborn daughter, Elaine Marie; a great grandson; and a great granddaughter.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, where friends are welcome to visit from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6. Pastor Rebecca Merriman will preside and burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
