RUSHVILLE — William C. “Bill” Wells, 73, of Milroy, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

Born Feb. 6, 1940, in Greensburg, he was the son of Roy and Helen Wells. He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1958. He also served in the U.S. Air Force as a missile maintenance mechanic, working on the AGM-28B “Hound Dog” nuclear missile.

Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed camping with friends and family and working on the farm, as well as being able to help those around him.

Survivors include his daughter, Bonnie Wells of Fountaintown; sisters, Wilma Wells and Marcia Foley of Greensburg, Debbie Milwee of Groveland, Fla.; brother, Tom Wells of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and many, many friends who will deeply miss his humor and spirit; especially his best friend, Buddy, who went everywhere with him.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Knights of St. John, 312 S. Wilder Street, Greensburg.
