Betty A. Morris, 81, a Franklin County resident, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 in Connersville. Betty was born in Rushville on Dec. 28, 1931 to the late Chester and Ruth (Ridout) Harrelson.
Betty lived her early life in Rush County and had lived in Franklin County since 1984. She married Robert Morris on March 4, 1950 and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2010. Betty was a book keeper for Schandig Corp. for 40 years and at Area 9 in Connersville for two years. She attended Champion Acres Gospel Barn. Betty was in 4-H when she was young and was formerly on the Election Board in Franklin County, the Ladies Aid of Sexton Christian Church and Keystone Christian Ladies Organization in Idaho.
She is survived by three sons; Charles Morris and wife Deb of Laurel, David Morris and wife Bertha of Rushville, Robert Morris and wife Carol of Knightstown; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by four brothers.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Bro. Rob Edwards will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 10 a.m. until the time of service the same day. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
