Kenneth I. Stearns Jr., 52, a lifelong resident of Knightstown, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Kenny was born Jan. 2, 1961, in Rushville to Kenneth Sr. and Virginia (Roberts) Stearns.
He was an associate with Stearns Construction, Inc. and Kenneth Stearns Jr. Construction most of his life. He was also a member of Knightstown United Methodist Church.
Kenny will be greatly missed by his mother, Virginia Stearns of Knightstown; his wife, Anna (Manning) Stearns of New Castle; sons, Trey Stearns of Knightstown and Ezra Stearns of Mays; daughters, Nikki (Nathan) Calciano of Middletown and Destany Stearns of Mays; 13 grandchildren; a brother, R. Jay (Linda) Stearns of Knightstown; sisters, Judy (Bill) Golightly of San Antonio, Texas, Vicky (Rocky) Reece of Knightstown, Terry (Marlin) Moore of Sexton and Dotty (Bill) Schneider of Flint, Mich.; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; step sons, Dustin Seyfferle of Rushville and Derrick Seyfferle of New Castle; and step daughters, Brittany Cox and Ashley Wilhelm of New Castle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth I. Stearns Sr.; a brother, Jefferey Scott Stearns Sr.; and a nephew, Joseph Ezra Stearns.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown with Pastor Curt Hunt presiding. Friends are welcome to visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
