Donald Max Newbold, 67, of Indianapolis, went home to his Lord peacefully at his home July 5, 2013.
Max was born March 25, 1946 in Rushville, a son of the late Ralph and Cecil (Hanshew) Newbold. He married Deanna M. Krack Oct. 10, 2003; she survives.
He was retired from Magnode Corporation where he worked as a manufacturing supervisor many years. He was a US Army veteran and served in the Viet Nam War. He was a longtime member of First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Deanna of Indianapolis; one daughter, Jodi (Kevin) Harr; two sons, Charles (Beth) Newbold and Donald Newbold, all of Rushville; two step daughters, Cynthia (Nathan) Ford of Coatsville and Jennifer Lewis of Brownsburg; one brother, Paul (Delores) Newbold of Cumberland; and nine grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life was held Monday, July 8 at First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville with Pastor Jeff Edwards officiating.
Burial with military honors followed in East Brook Cemetery in Milroy.
