Betty Mae Armstrong, 89, of Rushville, passed away March 30, 2013.
She was born Nov. 30, 1923, in Glenwood to Loys and Blanch (Cramer) Rees. Betty Mae was a 1940 graduate of Mays High School. She married Harold E. “Tates” Armstrong March 25, 1951; he preceded her in death in July, 1974.
Betty Mae was a bank teller many years at Fayette Bank & Trust in Connersville. She was a member of Ben Davis Creek Christian Church and Beta Tau Sorority of Connersville.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky and husband Peter Sullivan of Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Ruthester Shepler of Tennessee and Karen and husband Edward Gravitt of Alabama; and three grandsons.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty Mae was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6 at Ben Davis Creek Christian Church. Friends are welcome to visit from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. Howard Bullard will preside. Burial will be in Ben Davis Creek Cemetery.
