Everett L. Dunn, 99, a lifelong Andersonville resident passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 in Rushville. Everett was born in Franklin County on Oct. 9, 1914 to the late Nehemiah and Anna E. (Coleman) Dunn.
He married Helen Matney on Nov. 16, 1935 and she preceded him in death on Nov. 15, 2010. Everett retired from D&M in Connersville after 38 years of service. He was a former member of Andersonville Nazarene Church and bowled on the D&M bowling league in Connersville.
Everett leaves behind a son, Albert Leon Dunn and wife Lisa of Rushville; three daughters, Roseanna Thompson of Greensburg, Mary Kathryn and husband George Smith of Rush County and Edith Marie Crawley of Laurel; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife Helen, Everett was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters, three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Pastor Herman Chaney will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
