Mildred (Hutchinson) Borders, 89, passed away May 21, 2014 in Warsaw. Mildred was born in Rush County to Warnie and Lounetta Hutchinson in 1925. She married Glen Borders on Sept. 24, 1942 and he survives.
Mildred lived most of her life in Rushville, where she was a 1943 graduate of Arlington High School. Mildred was a member of Rushville Church of God, since she was a child. Her love of playing the piano entertained her family and all who knew her. The last time her family heard her play the piano was two years ago at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw where she has resided since November 2008.
In addition to her husband Glen, Mildred is survived by two daughters, Jackie Cook and Lois Patmore; and three sons, Bob Borders, Maurice Borders and Fred Borders. Mildred has 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and one sister, Clemadine Davis.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marcella Maze and daughter Bonnie Lou.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Rev. Charles Justice and Rev. Martin Justice (Mildred’s grandson) will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the same day at the mortuary. Burial will be in Arlington East Hill Cemetery, Arlington.
