Sharon S. Bockover, 73, of Rushville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 while in the company of family members at Rush Memorial Hospital.
Sharon was born Jan. 17, 1939, a daughter of the late Thelma (Becker) and Terry Mozingo.
She is survived by her husband, Wiley E. Bockover; sons, Glen (Helen) England of Rushville, Mark (Mandy) England of Andersonville, Tony (Tina) Bockover of Laurel, John (Terry) Bockover of Laurel, Bill (Kathy) Bockover of Rushville, Stan (Penny) Bockover of New Salem, Darrell (Darla) Bockover of Westport; daughters, Sherri of Scottsburg, Nancy Bockover of Greensburg, Kathy Bockover of Greensburg, Karen Bockover of Greensburg; brothers, Dale Mozingo of Greensburg, Melvin Mozingo of New Castle; sisters, Linda Wilson of Westport, Jo Ann Bates of Westport; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was a retired homemaker and worked at Schnadig Corp. and as a cook at Rush Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by one child, one grandchild and one brother, Ronald Mozingo.
Funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7 at Burns Funeral Home, Milroy with Rev. Philip Mitchell officiating. Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Burns Funeral Home. Interment at Richland Fishers Cemetery.
