Charlotte E. Spilman, 59, of Rushville, passed away June 26, 2014 at IU Med Center in Indianapolis following an extended illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with Pastor Ray Sweet officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
Charlotte was born in Rushville March 21, 1955 the daughter of the late George Carl and Lavon (Short) Wooldridge. She married Derek L. Spilman June 1, 1985 and he survives. She was a 1973 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and then graduated from beauty college and was a beautician throughout her life. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Red Hat Society and the Plum Creek Christian Church.
Left to cherish her memory include her husband of 29 years Derek Spilman of Rushville; two sisters, Connie (Paris) Cross of Mays, Marilyn Schwendenman of Greensburg; four brothers, John (Joanne) Wooldridge of Straughn, Robert (Janice) Wooldridge, Richard (Diana) Wooldridge both of Knightstown and Larry Wooldridge of Mexico.
Also missing her is her mother-in-law Betty Spilman, sister-in-law Patricia (Don) Letzler, brothers-in-law, Kevin (Marilyn) Spilman and Brian (Clarissa) Spilman all of Rushville. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
