James Edward Dailey, 67, of Rushville, passed away April 21, 2013.
He was born Dec. 9, 1945, in Sellersburg, a son of the late James L. Dailey and Etta M. (White) Fairchild, who survives.
Jim was a United States Air Force veteran. He spent most of his years as a chef at several places but most recently at the former Country Cooker. He also loved to paint and was a talented artist.
He fell in love with and married L. Sue Wilson June 19, 1998; she preceded him in death Jan. 23, 2009.
Survivors include sons, Aaron, Christian and Heath Dailey; daughters, Tonya (Mike) Buckley, Michelle Anderson, Lisa (Cedric) Marks, Deanna (Jeff) Lord and Shelly Gusman; a sister, Tonnie (Lonny) Wagener; grandchildren, Blaek, Brandon, Kristopher, Jeska, Kirstyn, Megan, Evan, David, Brielle and Trae; and great-grandchildren, Graham and Serenity.
In addition to his father and wife, he was preceded in death by a son.
