---- — Mike W. Miller, 54, a life-long Rush County resident, passed away Nov. 15, 2013 in Shelbyville. He was born June 29, 1959 in Rushville to Ralph and Freda (Stevens) Miller. Mike was a 1977 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School.
Mike worked many years on Max Miller's farm and was formerly employed at Culvers Restaurant. He volunteered at Bethel Manor and Farthing's Grocery Store, helping out with whatever needed done and was currently employed at Shares Inc. Mike attended Carthage Wesleyan Church and was a former member of Manilla VFD, Eastern Tractor Pullers and was a lifetime member of the NRA.
He is survived by brothers, Myron and wife Pam Miller, Dean Miller, Hugh and wife Phyllis Miller and Harold and wife MaryLou Miller, all of Rush County; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, Nov. 20. Donald Heller and Rev. Charles Stroud will preside and burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
