Frank D. Sutter, 80, passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Frank was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Christ Community Church. He retired in 1994 from Dana as a Human Resources Manager. He then worked for the Allen County Government in a similar role retiring in 2004.
Surviving are his wife, Betty C. Sutter of Fort Wayne; son, Brian (Jeannie) Sutter of Mays; son, Brad (Jan) Sutter of Carmel; granddaughter, Madison Sutter of Mays; step-granddaughters, Kristin (Antoine) Johnson of Round Rock, Texas and Whitney (Brian) Coles of Carmel; and step-great grandchildren, Hunter, Coleman, and William.
Frank was preceded in death by parents, Pearl L. and Rue I (Slane) Sutter.
Funeral Service is 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Christ Community Church, 10616 LIberty Mills Road with calling one hour prior, Rev. Dale Matthews officiating. Calling also from 2 to 6 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
