---- — Patricia Louise Osting, 80, of Rushville, passed away Dec. 21, 2013 at Rush Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 30, 1933 in Shelby County, the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Crossley) Runnebohm. She married Walter “Pete” Osting Feb. 9, 1957 and he survives. They had three daughters; Elizabeth (Mrs. Ryan) Voorhees of Weathford, Texas, Tina (Mrs. Michael) Hidde of Vincennes and Julia Connolly of Rushville; 9 grandchildren, Katie (Mrs. Kolby) Kotter, Michael and Robert Hidde, Jamie, Sarayah, Shay Lynn and Ashton Voorhees, Leah and Ben Connolly.
She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she had served as a council member, lay minister and bible study leader. She was a charter member of the Gingham Gals homemaker’s club, the Coffee Bowling League and Glenwood Bridge Club.
She had worked as a receptionist at Miller’s Merry Manor and as a secretary at the Rush County Community Foundation where she retired after 10 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with Rev. Jeremy Gries, celebrant. Friends are invited to the rosary at 3:45 p.m.Thursday with visitation until 8 p.m. Burial will be at Rushville’s Calvary Cemetery.
