---- — Joe William Flannery, Sr., 74, born Aug. 14, 1939 in Morrill, Ky. passed away Dec. 9, 2013 at the HPH Hospice Care Center in Dade City, Fla.

Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved to shuffleboard, golf and build things with wood and paint. He was a long time resident of Rush County. He retired from D & M Manufacturing then later retired as a school bus driver.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Tom and Cora (Isaacs) Flannery and his daughter Janet Flannery.

He is survived by a loving wife Jeannie (Streeval) Flannery of 53 years of Zephyrhills, Fla.; son Joe (Teresa) Flannery of Indianapolis; daughter Jane King of Connersville; four grandchildren Mikel Wade, Joe III, Kelsey and Nicole; one great grandson Corey Wade; brother Clint; sisters Margaret Tincher and Laurie Flannery of Kentucky and Barbara Estes (Jr.) of Connersville; and many nieces and nephews.

No funeral service will be held. There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at Andersonville Community Center.
