Rosemary Richardson, 84, a lifelong Rush and Fayette County resident passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013 in Rushville. Rosemary was born in Franklin County on March 1, 1929, to the late Russell and Kathryn (Riley) Hedrick.
Rosemary was a 1947 graduate of New Salem High School. She married Floyd L. Richardson on Dec. 24, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1996. She and Floyd were co-owners of Richardson Upholstery. Rosemary was a member of Glenwood Church of Christ.
Rosemary leaves behind two sons, Denny Richardson and companion Teresa Asbury , Benji and wife Lyn both of Glenwood; one daughter Gaila and husband Lance Carr of Glenwood; one sister-in-law Alice Hedrick of Rushville; five grandchildren, Denise Richardson, Kris Rambo, Kati Huffman, Kodi Smith and Megan McMillan; and six great grandchildren, Ava, Abby, Ella, Kooper, Slade and Zaden.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Hedrick.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dece. 19, 2013, at Glenwood Church of Christ in Glenwood. Pastor David Bonne will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moster Mortuary in Rushville. Burial will be in Orange North Cemetery.
