Martha R. (Rushton) Morrison, 93, Rushville, died June 25, 2009.

Born Feb. 16, 1916 in Fortville, she was the daughter of Alonzo and Dora Rushton, both deceased. She married Loran C. Morrison Feb. 3, 1945; he preceded her in death June 26, 1993.

Mrs. Morrison lived in Anderson most of her life, moving to Rushville when her health started failing. She retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors after 34 years of service. She also worked at Roth’s Clothing Store, where she modeled. She was a member of Rushville Church of Christ.

Survivors include daughter, Gayle (husband Jerry) Binder of Rushville; grandsons, Loran (Peg) Wilber, Jerome Lee (Ruthie) Maggart and Shawn R. Binder; granddaughters, Heidi Binder (Paul) Doss, Karina Binder (Mike) Land and Jamie Binder (Willie) Miller; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers and their wives, Oscar and Virgie Rushton, Everett and Blanche Rushton, Ovie and Helen Rushton, Frank and Mary Rushton, William "Harley" and Thelma Rushton, Elmer and Beatrice Rushton, Lloyd and Mildred Rushton; sisters and their husbands, Lula Rushton and Herb Snow and Katie Rushton and Gurn McVey.

Services were held June 29, 2009 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory in Anderson. Burial took place in Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson.
