Tom Bliss Worland, 75, of Rushville, died Friday, May 9, 2008.

Born Sept. 18, 1932 in Rushville, he was the son of “Fats” and Mary (Cowger) Worland, both deceased.

Mr. Worland was a lifelong Rushville resident. A crane operator and U.S. Navy veteran, he was a 1948 graduate of Rushville High School and was a member of the VFW.

Survivors include daughter, Tammy (Scott) Vawter of Rushville; two grandsons; and special friends Duane and Sonja Alexander of Dunreith.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at Moster Mortuary in Rushville. Burial will follow in Arlington East Hill Cemetery and will include a graveside military service. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.

Memorials may be made to Rush County Relay for Life.
