Born March 24, 1942 in Connersville, he was the son of Charles and Mary West Hood. He and his wife Charlotte Dalrymple Hood were married 33 years; she survives. Mr. Hood was a 1961 graduate of Rushville High School. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and honorably served in the United States Army. He was retired from General Motors. Survivors beside his wife include two sons, Charles Thomas Hood and Todd A. Caudill; a daughter, Diana Hood Seaman; three brothers, David M. Hood, James S. Hood and Paul R. Hood; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Willis. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Rushville Church of the Nazarene.
