CARMEL — Governor-elect Mike Pence announced today that registration has opened for the inaugural events of 2013.

“As we embark on a season of service over the next four years, we seek to make the inaugural events of 2013 enjoyable and accessible for all Hoosiers,” said Karen Pence, incoming First Lady. “We encourage Hoosiers from all corners of the state to join us at these events and look forward to welcoming them in the days leading up to Mike’s Inauguration.”

Saturday, Jan. 12

11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Family Fun Day

Free, Open to the public, Registration is required. Dallara IndyCar Factory, 1201 Main Street, Speedway

7 - 11 p.m. - Inaugural Ball Dinner & Dance

Black Tie Optional, General Attendance for the Inaugural Ball: $150/couple, $75/individual, Registration is required. JW Marriott, 10 South West Street, Indianapolis.

Sunday, Jan. 13

1:30 p.m. - Inaugural Praise & Worship Service, Free, Open to the public, Registration is required. Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis.

Monday, Jan. 14

11 a.m. - Inauguration Ceremony. Free, Open to the public, Registration is required. Indiana Statehouse, 200 West Washington Street, Indianapolis.

Attendees of all inaugural events are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Midwest Food Bank.
