Locals do well at state BPA conference

RUSHVILLE — The Rushville Consolidated High School Business Professionals of America Chapter recently competed in the State Conference in downtown Indianapolis.

Tyler Gipson lead the way for the Rushville Chapter, finishing in fourth place statewide in Desktop Publishing. He will advance to compete in the national competition which takes place in May at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

John Riddell competed in Fundamental Accounting and finished in ninth place in the state.

Brayton Wood, Kyle Hoeing, Austin Niehoff and Isaac Sliger made it all the way to the state finals in the Video Production team, and Ryan Fogg competed in Extemporaneous Speech.
