Rushville Republican

---- — There are two sides to philanthropy: generous donors who care about their community and the organization and people they are trying to help.

Can they help your organization?

The CIRCLe Fund, a fund within the Rush County Community Foundation, is searching for applicants for its first grant. The CIRCLe is interested in innovative programs or projects that are responsive to community needs, partnerships, and collaborative efforts.

Our intent is to award one grant for $12,000 in order to have the greatest impact on our community. Applications for less than $5,000 will not be considered.

Applications are available at the Rush County Community Foundation office, 117 N. Main Street, Rushville, Indiana. The application deadline is 4 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2014 at the Rush County Community Foundation office.

Organizations must be located in or provide service to residents within Rush County. Generally, grants will be awarded to tax-exempt organizations classified as 501(c)(3) charities.

Questions concerning your grant application should be directed to Cindy Taff (765) 932-2872.

CIRCLe members, mark your calendar for the "Spring Gathering" April 10.
