Friends Too Home Extension Club meets

Rushville Republican

---- — Friends Too Home Extension Club met in October at the Big Flatrock Christian Church. The meeting was called to order by president Sheilah Link. The Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag followed by the homemakers creed were recited. For roll call, your favorite Halloween costume (when we were kids) was given. Link and vice president Jean Chandler gave a report on the recent Living Will Conference, held in Muncie. All members were encouraged to attend the next conference, as they are educated as well as the conferences are enjoyable.

A short business meeting was held to discuss upcoming projects. A few members were absent due to illness or family obligations.

The club did have a few unusual characters show up. We had a lovely Viking Female Warrior (Link), A beautiful black cat (Pat Elston), a scary itch (Jackie Tanner), a pretty lady farmer with a pitch fork (Ray Hineman) and a zombie nun (Chandler).

Delicious pumpkin muffin and pumpkin bars, fresh apple slices and coffee were enjoyed by all.
