RUSHVILLE — The report of a residential burglary earlier this month resulted in Franklin County deputies responding to a residence on Holland Road near U.S. 52 in Franklin County.

During the investigation, officers turned their attention to suspects Lydia A. Honnaker Ramirez, 31, Cincinnati, Ohio, and her husband, Marvin A. Ramirez, 23, also of Cincinnati.

The investigation found that the suspects were from the Norwood, Ohio area.

Detectives from the Norwood Police Department located a Chrysler van that contained one adult male and two adult female occupants. Located in the van were several items stolen in the Holland Road burglary.

All three subjects were arrested on various charges.

Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies and an Indiana State Police Crime Scene Technician went to Norwood to process the van and interview the three suspects.

Several items of evidence were recovered while processing the house and the suspect vehicle. Those items will be submitted to the Indiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.

Arrest warrants were issued through Franklin County Circuit Court for Burglary as a class B felony for their involvement in the Holland Road incident on the Ramirez subjects. Both are currently incarcerated in the Hamilton County Justice Center and are awaiting extradition to Franklin County, Ind.

Any involvement in the Franklin County burglary by the third individual arrested continues to be investigated.

The investigation is ongoing and more suspects could be charged.

If convicted of a class B felony the suspects could receive up to 20 years in prison and receive fines up to $10,000.
