Graduation is just around the corner and you may be thinking college is not an option for you! The economy, jobless rates and extenuating circumstances can make it difficult for high school seniors to put together a viable financial map that takes them through four years of college.
Don’t lose hope, however; there are several programs and opportunities that put a college degree well within your reach.
The old adage of “where there’s a will, there’s a way,” holds true!
Rushville Consolidated High School will be holding Financial Aid Night at 6:30 p.m. Jan 15, 2013 in the RCHS cafeteria.
There will be a guest speaker from the Financial Aid Office at Franklin College to talk with interested parents and students. Part of this process will include assistance in filling out the application for federal student aid (FAFSA). More information about filing the FAFSA form can be obtained at www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Other aspects of financial aid will be discussed such as student loans, scholarships, and grants etc.
We look forward to helping you make your college goal possible. If you are unable to attend Financial Aid Night and need assistance feel free to contact Natalie Hornsby at RCHS (765) 932-3901 Ext. 308 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
