Alisa Henderson, Executive Director of the Rush County Community Foundation, has announced that the application deadline for the Cycle II, 2014 Community Grants is 4 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2014.
Local non-profits who have a need should contact the Foundation office for information about the Rush County Community Foundation’s community grant program. The Foundation awarded over $41,000 in community grants last year. These grants, from local discretionary funds, brought the total of community grants awarded to non-profit groups in Rush County to over $799,000 since the Foundation’s first grant in 1994.
“Our Board of Directors and staff are extremely proud of the contributions we have been able to make to our community on behalf of the founding contributors. These local discretionary endowment funds were established by Rush County citizens to help Rush County citizens. The grants made would not have been possible without the generous financial support of those who established these funds along with our donors who continue to support the Foundation,” Henderson said.
Meeting the philanthropic needs of Rush County since 1991, The Rush County Community Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit public charity established to serve donors, award grants and scholarships, and provide leadership to enrich and enhance the quality of life in Rush County, Indiana, not only today, but for our future generations.
